于明，华东政法大学法学学士、硕士、北京大学法学博士。现任华东政法大学法律学院教授，华东政法大学法律史研究中心主任、涉外法治研究院副院长、区域国别法治研究中心常务副主任。兼任全国外国法制史研究会副会长兼秘书长、上海市法学会外国法与比较法研究会会长、上海市法学会区域国别法治研究会副会长。研究领域为法律史、英美法、比较法、区域国别学。在《法学研究》《学术月刊》《开放时代》《中外法学》《法学家》《清华法学》《光明日报》等重要刊物发表论文30余篇；主持“近代英国宪制话语竞争史”等两项国家社科基金项目；出版《司法治国——英国法庭政治史》（独著）《镜中观法——<中国评论>与十九世纪末西方视野中的中国法》（合著）《语词的创造——霍布斯论语词、心智与政治》（译著）等著作。入选上海市东方英才计划青年项目、上海市曙光学者计划，曾获教育部霍英东教育基金会青年教师奖二等奖、上海市教学成果奖特等奖、上海市高校青年教师教学竞赛一等奖、上海市哲学社会科学优秀成果奖二等奖等荣誉。 Yu Ming holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws from East China University of Political Science and Law, and a Doctor of Laws from Peking University. He is currently a Professor at the School of Law, East China University of Political Science and Law, where he also serves as the Director of the Legal History Research Center, and Deputy Director of the Institute of Foreign-related Rule of Law. He concurrently holds positions as the Vice President of the National Society of Foreign Legal History, President of the Foreign Law and Comparative Law Research Association of the Shanghai Law Society. His research focuses on legal history, Anglo-American law, comparative law, and Country and Region Studies. His publications include the monographs Governing by Judiciary: A History of English Court Politics and Observing Law in the Mirror: The China Review and the Vision of Chinese Law in the Late 19th Century (co-authored), as well as the translation Made with Words: Hobbes on Language, Mind, and Politics（written by Philip Pettit）. |
